I have often felt like throwing my hair styling products, makeup bottles, toothpaste, etc across the room because I simply can't get that last drop of product out of the bottle. According to Consumer Reports, I'm not alone...
In an article titled "Shake, rattle, and squeeze: How much is left in that container?," Consumer Reports acknowledged that there can be many problems when trying to get out every last drop of lotion, shampoo, or other products. Their article, found here, begins by saying "#@**!was the reaction of a reader who tried to wrest every last bit from bottles of Aveeno lotion. Although she turned them upside down for up to three days and used various implements, the final drops refused to budge. Consumer reports decided to investigate and asked "How much of what you buy is left behind?"
The results were astonishing and they discovered that around 25% of product stays the bottle.
It's not just about getting out the last bit of product - it's about being able to use that product, throwing away fewer bottles and ultimately about saving and helping the earth a little. Here at mybotto we believe we have found the solution to this problem...
